Wedding Greeting Cards

Whether you take the traditional route of buying wedding greeting cards from a retail store in your city, an online store that carries wedding greeting cards, or take the unconventional less-used method of making them yourself, you’re going to need to worry about the imagery and mood that you set with the card. For example, the words aren’t the only thing about the wedding greeting cards that matter. On the contrary, the decorations on the card, the font of the wording, as well as any pictures or imagery that you used all go into either creating a beautiful card that turns heads or one that turns people off.

One of the principle methods that you should use when sending out wedding greeting cards is the mirror method. The mirror method is when you step back from your creation when it’s all finished and take a look at how you would feel if given the card. This process shouldn’t be done immediately after finishing the cards and putting the stamps on the outer edge of the envelope. Rather, you should wait at least twenty-four hours in order to get a fresh look at the whole image and feel of the wedding greeting cards.

On the other hand, you could have a friend or family member take a look at the wedding greeting cards to get a fresh perspective if you don’t have enough time on your hands. However, by completing the mirror method you’ll know whether you need to add something to the card or keep it as it is.
